The University of Wyoming’s Wyoming Motorsports student organization has captured its second consecutive SAE Formula Hybrid + Electric championship. The team, composed primarily of mechanical engineering students, competed in Loudon, New Hampshire, earlier this spring.
Championship Win
The team’s hybrid electric vehicle beat out other competitors, showcasing the skills and dedication of UW’s students. According to UW Director of Internal Communications Chad Baldwin, the team is not a formalized team in UW athletics but a student organization open to students from various fields of study.
