Glendale officials announced the opening of applications for the Glendale Rental Assistance and Stabilization Program (GRASP), aimed at helping renters facing financial hardships remain housed. The program will begin accepting applications on July 6 and will remain open through July 20.
Program Details
To qualify, applicants must be Glendale residents, have a household income below 80% of the area median income, and provide documentation verifying their eligibility and financial hardship. Eligible applicants may receive emergency rental assistance, short-term income support, utility assistance, or other housing-related aid.
The program was established by the Glendale City Council in September 2025 using funding from the Los Angeles County Affordable Housing Solutions Agency’s Renter Protection and Homelessness Prevention allocation. Homeowners, mortgage holders, and people currently experiencing homelessness are not eligible for the program.
