Tampa Bay is well represented in one of Florida’s most prestigious leadership programs this year. A total of 28 local leaders have been selected to join Leadership Florida’s 2026–27 classes, spanning the business and civic sectors, according to The Business Journals.
Leadership Florida is a statewide program designed to connect and develop influential professionals from across Florida’s communities. Being chosen is a meaningful recognition — participants are selected for their demonstrated impact and their potential to shape the future of their industries and communities.
Having 28 representatives from the Tampa Bay region in a single class cycle reflects the depth of talent and civic energy thriving here. These leaders come from a range of backgrounds across business and public life, and their participation means Tampa Bay voices will be part of statewide conversations about Florida’s future.
