A teenager was found unresponsive in a Beverly, Massachusetts, pool on Wednesday afternoon and rushed to the hospital, officials said.
The 13-year-old boy was eventually flown to a Boston hospital by helicopter after being stabilized at Beverly Hospital, according to local police and fire officials.
The incident was reported to 911 as a boy unresponsive in a pool at a home on Parramatta Road about 4:15 p.m., officials said. When first responders arrived, bystanders who’d pulled the teenager from the water were performing CPR, which the first responders took over.
