Montgomery Independent School District (MISD) officials have announced the approval of a renovation project at Montgomery High School. The project, which is expected to take around 12-16 weeks to complete, will focus on the east wing of the school and will include the installation of a new driveway, the repurposing of administrative offices, and the conversion of rooms into warehouse space.

The renovation project will also include the creation of a faculty breakroom, the addition of removable walls to create space for a new conference room and group cubicle area, and the implementation of a resource center in the east campus cafeteria. The estimated completion date for the project is mid-October.
The project is part of the district’s efforts to ensure that its facilities are up-to-date and meet the needs of district personnel, faculty, staff, and students. The renovation will also allow for the relocation of the district’s technology department, child nutrition department, and police department to the east campus.
