Altoona police K9 Ricco is set to receive a new bullet- and stab-protective vest thanks to a donation from the nonprofit Vested Interest in K9s LLC.
Ricco’s vest will be embroidered with the sentiment ‘In recognition of Todd Trobaugh.’ Delivery is expected within 10 weeks.
Since the organization started in 2009, Vested Interest in K9s LLC has provided more than 6,500 vests to police K9s across the country.
