Flemings’ Achievements
Flemings earned numerous honors during his time at the University of Houston, including being the first freshman in program history to earn All-America honors. He also set the Houston Cougars’ freshman single-game scoring record with 42 points against Texas Tech University. Flemings was one of five Cougars to play in all 37 games and was the first freshman to lead the team in assists since the 2015-16 season.
Houston Cougars head coach Kelvin Sampson praised Flemings, saying he knew Flemings was special from the start. Sampson said Flemings’ selfless and loyal nature made him a great fit for the team.
