Approximately 100 full- and part-time positions at Bradley International Airport will be eliminated in August following the expiration of another company’s contract with Delta Airways.
According to a notice to the Connecticut Department of Labor, G2 Secure Staffing — a company that employs aviation staff in airports across the country — will no longer provide ground handling support to Delta at Bradley Airport once the company’s contract expires.
The elimination of these positions as well as the termination of the employees currently in these positions will take place on Aug. 19, 2026. These eliminations and terminations are expected to be permanent, according to the notice.
The notice also says that the affected current employees are not represented by a labor organization.
