A mass shooting at a large outdoor gathering in Humboldt Park, Chicago, left six people wounded, according to police. The shooting occurred just after 2 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of North Central Park Avenue.
Two of the victims were critically injured after being shot multiple times. A 35-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital and Mt. Sinai Hospital, respectively.
The four other victims were listed in good condition, including a 33-year-old man shot in his finger, a 39-year-old man shot twice in his thigh, a 46-year-old woman shot in her back and twice in her foot, and a 34-year-old woman shot in her hip.
The shooting broke out near the intersection of West Augusta Boulevard and North Central Park Avenue, cutting a late-night party short. Area detectives are investigating the shooting, and no arrests have been made.
