Thirty girls and women of all ages from Southern Colorado participated in a free wakesurfing lesson alongside professional wakesurfers in Pueblo Reservoir on Thursday. The event was part of MasterCraft’s nationwide ‘Let Her Rip’ campaign, which aims to empower women and young girls in the male-dominated field of watersports.
Empowering Women in Watersports
World Champion athlete Ansley Pritchard and Ashton Domby from the MasterCraft marketing team led the lesson, hoping to grow the women’s confidence in all facets of watersports, from carving up the surf to feeling empowered to get their boating license.
