A 70-year-old woman and her 72-year-old husband were found dead with gunshot wounds in their Keene, New Hampshire home, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.
Police responded to a welfare check at the home on Hurricane Road shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday. The man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene, and their identities have not been released.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is set to conduct autopsies on both individuals Wednesday. Authorities said there is no known threat to the public, and the case remains under investigation.
