The 16th Annual “Vamos a Pescar, Let’s Go Fishing!” event is set to take place on Saturday, August 9, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Buddy Holly Lake in Lubbock.
A Fun Day of Fishing and Family Activities
This community tradition offers a full day of outdoor fun for anglers of all ages. No fishing license is required during the event, and the lake will be freshly stocked with catfish.
Families can enjoy free activities throughout the day, and a complimentary lunch will be available while supplies last. The first 500 adults and first 500 children will receive a free swag bag filled with event goodies.
