A 14-year-old boy was fatally shot in south Louisville Saturday night. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified him as Jahlil Brown. Officers heard reports of a fight in the 700 block of Gagel Avenue, in the Cloverleaf neighborhood, around 10:10 p.m. When they arrived, they found two boys who had been shot.
Brown was pronounced dead on the scene. The other boy was sent to the hospital and is expected to survive. Brown’s death has been ruled a homicide. No arrests have been made in the case.
