On the surface it looks like a well-kept urban greenspace, and it is — but spend a morning or an afternoon here and you quickly realize how much thought has gone into every corner of it. Wide, paved paths wind through open lawns and along the riverbank, connecting seamlessly to the broader Arkansas River Trail system. Cyclists, joggers, dog walkers, and families with strollers all coexist here in that rare, easy harmony that good park design makes possible.
