Veteran actor Sylvester Stallone told Fox News Digital that his decision to perform his own stunts over a decades‑long career was “idiotic.” The “Tulsa King” star, now 80, recounted a litany of injuries, including nine back operations, three neck fusions, shoulder damage and eye surgery.
Health toll of a stunt‑filled career
Stallone said he has “millions of regrets” and could spend “30 hours, 30 minutes” describing each injury. He noted that after filming “The Expendables,” he required extensive medical procedures that left him “not quite the same” as before.
He emphasized that the physical reality of gravity cannot be avoided: “When you hit the ground, you lose, and it’s going to come back.” Stallone urged anyone considering stunt work to let professionals handle it, warning that even athletes cannot defy physics.
Upcoming season of “Tulsa King”
Stallone also discussed the upcoming fourth season of his Paramount+ series, which premieres on October 16, 2026. He described the new episodes as bringing fresh adversaries and internal crew conflicts for his character, Dwight Manfredi, keeping the show dynamic.
Life change: moving to Florida
Beyond Hollywood, Stallone shared that he and his wife, Jennifer Flavin, relocated from California to Florida in 2024. He said the move revitalized him, offering a quieter environment and a sense of renewed vigor that aligns with his family’s well‑being.
Stallone’s three daughters—Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet—are also in the news, with Sophia recently announcing her engagement to Michael Sheehan.
