As temperatures drop, St. Vincent de Paul is stepping up to ensure families across Greater Cincinnati stay warm. The organization’s first coat distribution of the season begins Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to noon at Elder High School in the city.
Any Hamilton County resident in need of a coat is welcome to attend. The charity also urges community members to donate new or gently‑used coats, hats, scarves and gloves through January 31, 2027. For each online donation or coat dropped off at an SVDP thrift store in Cincinnati, donors receive a coupon for a free hot dog from local eatery Gold Star as a thank‑you.
