Randallstown welcomes a new fitness destination as Planet Fitness opens its doors at 8634 Liberty Road in the Liberty Court Shopping Center. The 16,660‑square‑foot facility brings a family‑friendly workout environment to the community, complete with the Baltimore area’s first Planet Fitness infrared sauna.
State‑of‑the‑art amenities for all fitness levels
Infrared saunas differ from traditional steam rooms by using infrared light to generate heat, operating at 110‑135°F rather than the 150‑195°F range of conventional saunas. The lower temperature still delivers therapeutic benefits such as muscle relaxation and improved circulation, making it a gentle option for seniors, parents, and anyone new to wellness routines.
In addition to the sauna, the Randallstown club offers a full suite of strength‑training equipment, brand‑name cardio machines, and a dedicated free‑in‑club fitness training program. Members also receive access to the Planet Fitness app, which houses hundreds of on‑demand digital workouts.
Open house invites the community to try before they buy
The gym will host an open house on Friday, Oct. 30, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees can tour the facility, enjoy complimentary Hydromassages, refreshments, and giveaways. Raffle prizes include a Fitbit Air, JBL speaker, Apple AirPods, and a HyperIce massager.
“Planet Fitness is the gym for all fitness levels, and we are excited to welcome the community in to grow stronger together at this new Randallstown location,” said Justin Drummond, president of Ohana Growth Partners, one of the largest franchise divisions of Planet Fitness. “We encourage the local community to come out to see what our unique, non‑intimidating and judgment‑free environment is all about.”
Affordable membership options
New members who attend the open house can sign up at special discounted rates. The Classic Card membership is available for $1 down and $15 per month, while the PF Black Card® membership costs $1 down and $24.99 per month. Both plans require no long‑term commitment.
All memberships include unlimited access to strength and cardio equipment, free in‑club fitness training, and the Planet Fitness app. Black Card members receive additional perks such as a daily guest pass, access to the Black Card Spa®, and the ability to use any of the more than 2,900 Planet Fitness locations nationwide.
Operating hours and contact information
The Randallstown location is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., providing flexible workout windows for busy families and working professionals. For more information, visit the gym’s website, follow its social media channels, call 443‑957‑0070, or email [email protected].
With its emphasis on a judgment‑free atmosphere, modern amenities, and affordable pricing, the new Planet Fitness aims to become a cornerstone of health and wellness for Randallstown residents, supporting families in their pursuit of stronger bodies and healthier lifestyles.
