Greenville families will soon have a new early‑education resource as Pinnacle Partnership, a Spartanburg‑based hospitality and development firm, broke ground on a Kiddie Academy center off Pelham Road on Oct. 16. The 12,500‑square‑foot facility, located at 121 The Parkway, is projected to open in spring 2027 and will accommodate more than 200 children ranging from six weeks to 12 years old.
Community‑focused development
“There are so many amazing families in the community that surrounds this area,” said Ashley Collins, co‑owner of Kiddie Academy of Greenville. “We also have a lot of really big employers nearby that we want to serve, and we know how challenging it can be to find child care.” The Collins family will operate the center, emphasizing quality care and educational programming for local children.
Part of a larger mixed‑use project
The new academy is a key component of a seven‑acre mixed‑use development along The Parkway. Pinnacle Partnership recently opened the DoubleTree by Hilton Greenville Airport, which anchors the project, and plans to add a future retail tenant fronting the Parkway. The development aims to blend hospitality, residential, and commercial uses, creating a vibrant hub for families and workers alike.
Economic and family benefits
“As the Upstate continues to grow, investments in essential services like quality childcare are increasingly important to supporting families, employers and the broader community,” said Sachin Shanbhag, managing partner of Pinnacle Partnership. “Kiddie Academy is an important addition to this development, and we’re pleased to help bring a resource like this to the Greenville market.” The center is expected to generate local jobs, both directly in the academy and indirectly through the surrounding development.
Looking ahead
When completed, the Kiddie Academy will provide a modern, safe environment for early learning, giving parents greater flexibility as they balance work and family responsibilities. For more information, visit kiddieacademy.com.
