Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar announced the launch of Nevada’s new Visual Interface for Voter Information and Data (VIVID), a public dashboard designed to give Nevadans clear, real‑time insight into ballot activity as the state moves toward the 2026 General Election.
What VIVID Shows
The VIVID site (VIVID.NV.gov) aggregates statewide election information, including total voter turnout, mail‑ballot activity, and in‑person voting numbers. Users can see how many mail ballots have been sent, returned, accepted, or remain outstanding, with breakdowns by county and political party.
Additional metrics include daily early‑voting turnout, verification status for ballots with missing or mismatched signatures, and the number of ballots successfully verified by county officials. The dashboard also displays turnout by county and party on Election Day.
How Voters Can Use the Tool
Residents can access the dashboard directly online or download detailed “Voter List & Ballot Status Reports” for their county or congressional district. If a ballot requires a signature cure, the report flags it with a “Signature Cure Needed” note, allowing voters to address the issue promptly.
Nevadans can also track their individual mail ballot through MyBallot.NV.gov and register or update their voter information via VOTE.NV.gov. Same‑day registration remains available online or in person at polling locations during early voting and on Election Day.
Outreach and Accessibility
To raise awareness, the Secretary of State’s Office partnered with the Nevada Broadcasters Association to run digital, television, and radio ads in both English and Spanish. The ads are posted on the office’s official YouTube channel.
Aguilar emphasized that transparency builds trust: “The new VIVID dashboard provides real‑time data directly from election officials about voter turnout, mail‑ballot activity, and more. It’s transparency you can see and understand.” He added that Nevada aims to remain a national leader in election security, accessibility, and voter experience.
Key Election Dates
Early voting runs from Oct. 17 through Oct. 30, with polling places open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3. The deadline to register or update a registration for mail‑ballot eligibility was Oct. 20. Mail ballots must be postmarked by Election Day and received by county officials no later than Nov. 7; the office recommends mailing ballots at least one week before Election Day.
For questions about voting, registration, or the upcoming election, voters can contact the Nevada Secretary of State’s Elections Division at (775) 687‑VOTE (8683) or email [email protected].
