Community involvement
The district’s plan provides multiple opportunities for veterans to share their stories, interact with students and receive recognition from the community. By spreading events across several campuses, the district hopes to reach a broad cross‑section of families and encourage young people to learn about the sacrifices made by those who served.
All events are open to the public, and the district encourages residents to participate, whether by attending a ceremony, volunteering or simply offering a word of thanks. The coordinated schedule reflects the district’s commitment to honoring service members while fostering a sense of patriotism and gratitude among students.
