The Naperville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3873 invites families and car enthusiasts to its third Annual Car Show on Saturday, Oct. 17. The event runs from noon to 3 p.m. at Judd Kendall Hall, 908 Jackson Ave., with free admission for all visitors.
How to Participate
Owners who wish to enter a vehicle may do so for a $25 entry fee. Payments can be made online (a small processing fee applies) or in cash at the gate. The show welcomes a wide range of vehicles, including antique classics, exotic imports, hot rods, motorcycles and Jeeps.
Parking and Transportation
Registered entries will park in the VFW’s south parking lot. Public parking is available at the Centennial Beach lot, and a shuttle service will run between the lot and the event site for added convenience.
Voting and Awards
Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite vehicles. The top 25 cars, as determined by visitor ballots, will receive trophies. Award categories include Best in Show, first‑place honors in each class, the Commander’s Choice award and individual class winners.
Food, Entertainment and Extras
Dark Horse Catering will provide a variety of food options, and beverages will be available for purchase. Live music will be performed by OMT, adding a festive soundtrack to the afternoon. In addition to the car showcase, the event will feature raffles, a craft fair and a silent auction that includes an Irongate Car Cave Experience among other items.
Supporting the VFW
While admission is free, the VFW will accept donations at the gate to support its ongoing programs for veterans and the community. For those interested in entering a vehicle or learning more about the event, entry forms and updates are posted on the Post’s event page.
The car show offers a family‑friendly outing that celebrates automotive history, supports local veterans and provides a gathering place for Naperville residents. Mark your calendars for Oct. 17 and join the VFW for a memorable afternoon of classic cars, good food and community spirit.
