Naperville residents who love Halloween can now experience the town’s most elaborate front‑yard displays without battling for parking. Beginning Friday, Oct. 16, Naperville Trolley & Tours will operate a nightly Halloween Lights tour that runs through Halloween night.
What the tour includes
The trolley, a familiar sight during the December holiday lights season, will travel past a curated selection of the city’s most decorated houses. Riders are invited to wear costumes, making the experience enjoyable for children and adults alike. Each tour lasts about an hour, with departures typically scheduled between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Comfort and convenience
All tours are conducted in an enclosed, heated trolley that runs rain or shine, providing a warm and dry way to view the spooky decorations. The trolley seats 28 passengers per outing, and weekend tours are already filling up, so early reservation is recommended.
Ticket pricing
Tickets cost $28.75 per person on Oct. 19–21 and Oct. 26–28, and $34.50 on all other nights. Prices include the driver’s tip; an online booking fee is added at checkout. Every passenger, including infants who ride on a lap, counts toward the seat total.
How to reserve
Seats can be reserved through the Naperville Trolley public‑tour booking page. If you plan to attend with neighbors or friends, let them know which tour you have selected so they can book the same departure.
