MedHaven Health announced that its Glen Burnie clinic has reopened for in‑person appointments, restoring essential primary care and women’s health services to the community. The new office, located at 1600 Crain Highway South, Suite 201, began seeing patients on September 1, 2026, after nearly two months of disruption caused by the July 9 evacuation of the Empire Towers building.
Why the clinic was closed
The evacuation was prompted by structural concerns in the Empire Towers parking garage. MedHaven was forced to abandon examination rooms, medical equipment and supplies, and it operated only limited telehealth visits while a new space was prepared.
Services now available
With the new office fully operational, the practice offers a full range of services, including primary care, family medicine, annual physicals, preventive screenings, women’s health visits, Pap smears, contraception and IUD placement, chronic disease management, vaccinations, STI testing, mental‑health support, addiction treatment and weight‑management programs. Same‑day sick visits may be offered depending on scheduling.
Patients with ongoing conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure can now benefit from regular examinations, follow‑up visits and a continued relationship with their care team. The clinic emphasizes listening to patients, explaining treatment options and making decisions together.
Community focus
MedHaven serves residents of Glen Burnie, Pasadena, Severn, Ferndale, Millersville and other nearby Anne Arundel County communities. The practice welcomes new and returning patients and accepts Medicare, Maryland Medicaid and many commercial insurance plans. Patients are encouraged to verify coverage and appointment availability when scheduling.
Office hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday until 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For appointments or more information, visit the MedHaven Health website or call 301‑501‑5779.
