Law enforcement and public updates

The Lincoln Police Department will manage intersections and will post updates on social media regarding when streets reopen. Motorists are urged to follow posted signage and to allow extra travel time.

Impact on residents and commuters

Residents in affected neighborhoods should expect temporary inconvenience and possible towing of improperly parked vehicles. The city advises using the suggested detour routes and remaining patient while the race proceeds safely.
