Actor Kevin Bacon, 68, took to social media to ask his followers for help tracking down a missing FedEx shipment. Bacon explained that he sent a box of personal clothing from upstate New York to his filming location in Ireland on September 26.
According to Bacon, the package was first routed to Memphis, then to France, and by September 28 it arrived in Germany. The following day it was mistakenly sent to Israel instead of Ireland. Over the next two weeks the box bounced between Israel, France, Germany and the United Kingdom before finally reaching Ireland on October 11, where it has remained undelivered for five days.
“I don’t understand why it’s just sitting there,” Bacon said in his video. “I could buy new clothes, but these have sentimental value – I’ve had them since the ’90s.” He described the contents as “old boots, old jeans, old hats” and expressed frustration at being unable to reach a FedEx representative by phone.
FedEx has not responded to a request for comment from Fox News Digital. The company has issued an apology to Bacon’s team and indicated it is in direct contact with them to resolve the delivery issue.
