On Oct. 28, Hope Supply Co., a North Texas nonprofit that serves homeless and at‑risk children, held its annual fall fundraiser, Supply Hope!, at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. The event, which attracted more than 250 Dallas-area residents, raised a record $300,000 for the organization, according to Focus Daily News.
Event co‑chairs Krista Tankersley and Julie Abell oversaw the “Harvest for Hope” themed evening, which celebrated community philanthropy as a means to provide essential resources for children. During the celebration, the nonprofit honored Pam and Richard Squires with its Hope Hero Award. Pam, a board member since 2017, was recognized for her leadership, advocacy, and fundraising contributions, while her husband Richard was noted for his business leadership and shared commitment to the cause.
Hope Supply Co. reports that by the end of 2026 it will have distributed 3.5 million diapers across North Texas and beyond. The organization partners with more than 70 nonprofit agencies—including food pantries, domestic‑violence shelters, and health‑care centers—to deliver diapers, wipes, hygiene products, baby food, formula, toys, and clothing to families facing financial hardship.
Annually, the nonprofit serves over 60,000 children, with more than 94 % of its revenue directed to critical‑needs programs. Since its founding in 1989, Hope Supply Co. has distributed more than 25 million diapers, underscoring its long‑standing impact on vulnerable families throughout the Dallas‑Fort Worth metroplex, including Desoto residents who rely on local partner agencies.
While the fundraiser highlighted the organization’s achievements, it also signaled continued effort. Hope Supply Co. will keep distributing essential supplies throughout 2026, aiming to meet its goal of 3.5 million diapers and to support the children and families that depend on its services.
