Texarkana, Ark. – Animal Care and Adoption Center is seeking a caring family for Buddy, a four‑year‑old boxer/hound mix with a big personality and a gentle heart. Buddy’s playful, goofy nature makes him an ideal companion for those who appreciate an active, affectionate dog.
Buddy’s Personality and Preferences
Buddy loves to explore his surroundings, play games, and meet new people. He thrives on attention and enjoys being petted, often seeking out gentle strokes from anyone willing to give them. While he gets along well with humans, Buddy is not a fan of cats, so a home without feline residents would be best.
Ideal Home Environment
Because Buddy enjoys space to roam, a household with a sizable yard or plenty of open land would suit him perfectly. His energetic spirit benefits from regular walks and opportunities to run, making a rural or suburban setting an excellent match.
Adoption Details
The adoption fee for Buddy is $144. This fee includes all essential veterinary services: neutering, a rabies vaccination, microchipping for identification, and registration with the local animal authority. These services ensure Buddy is ready to transition smoothly into his new home.
How to Adopt Buddy
Prospective adopters who are interested in learning more about Buddy or beginning the adoption process should contact the Animal Care and Adoption Center directly at 870‑773‑6388. Staff members are available to answer questions, arrange a meet‑and‑greet, and guide families through the necessary paperwork.
Supporting Local Animal Welfare
Adopting a pet like Buddy not only provides a loving home for an animal in need but also supports the broader mission of the Animal Care and Adoption Center. The center relies on community involvement and donations to continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals throughout the ArkLaTex region.
For those who cannot adopt at this time, the center welcomes donations of food, supplies, or monetary contributions to help care for Buddy and other animals awaiting homes. Every contribution helps ensure that these pets receive proper care while they wait for their forever families.
