Giannis Antetokounmpo Traded To Miami Heat

According to ESPN, the Milwaukee Bucks have traded two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat. The trade also includes fan favorite Bobby Portis. Antetokounmpo, a 10-time All-Star, has played all 13 of his NBA seasons with the Bucks and led the team to its first championship in 50 years in 2021.

Trade Details

Along with Giannis, Bobby Portis is also headed to Miami in exchange for former Whitnall High Star Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, three first-round picks (including No. 13), one pick swap and one second-rounder.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been a key figure in the Bucks’ success, leading the team to multiple playoff appearances and winning the NBA championship in 2021. His departure from the Bucks marks the end of an era for the team.
