A barn fire over the weekend in Jupiter, Florida, resulted in the deaths of a horse and a donkey. The fire, which is currently under investigation, began when the homeowner was awakened by a loud popping sound coming from the structure. Despite the rapid growth of the blaze, firefighters were able to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to surrounding structures.
The homeowners were not injured in the incident, but unfortunately, the horse and donkey inside the barn could not be saved. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has shared video footage and information about the fire.
