Casper Area Transit recently announced its modified schedule for the fast-approaching Fourth of July holiday weekend. The service adjustments begin Friday, July 3, when the transit office will be closed and there will be no LINK bus services provided.
Holiday Schedule
The door-to-door ASSIST bus service will provide limited transportation from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on July 3. These Friday rides are restricted to ADA Complementary Paratransit services and medical-only appointments. On July 4, Casper Area Transit will suspend all LINK and ASSIST services in observance of the holiday.
Passengers who need to schedule ASSIST rides for July 3 must make their requests by 3 p.m. on July 2. These requests will be fulfilled based on availability. Also, because the transit office is closed on July 3, riders are encouraged to purchase scan passes and e-passes on or before July 2.
Regular operations for both the LINK and ASSIST bus services are set to resume at 6:30 a.m. on July 6. The transit office will resume its standard business hours at 8 a.m. that morning.
