A damaging derecho hit an apartment complex in Tuttle, Oklahoma, early Monday morning, displacing at least 8 families. The storm ripped the roof off a building and pushed AC units off the roof. Neighbors reported waking up to water and a loud boom.
Emergency management officials said the apartment building was one of the worst-hit areas in Tuttle. The American Red Cross is working to help the displaced families. Crews are still surveying the area for other damage.
