A popular country music singer enjoyed lunch at a seafood restaurant in Noank this weekend. Jo Dee Messina, who has charted six number-one singles on the Billboard country music charts and has been nominated for two Grammy Awards, visited Abbott’s Lobster in the Rough on Saturday.
The restaurant shared photos of Messina holding a lobster stuffed animal in front of an Abbott’s Lobster in the Rough sign, as well as one of her eating lobster at a table with friends and family. Messina visited the restaurant before her performance in the Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods on Saturday at 8 p.m.
Messina’s Foxwoods performance was part of her “Bridges” tour. Her next tour stop will be July 10 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
