It has been a banner stretch for Sheridan student-athletes, with local teams and players earning top honors at the state level in two different sports.
The Sheridan boys tennis team claimed first place at the 2025 Wyoming State Meet, bringing home a state championship for the program. The girls team also made a strong showing, finishing fifth overall in the state competition — a solid result that reflects the depth of tennis talent developing in Sheridan.
Adding to the celebratory mood, six high school football players from the north-central Wyoming region — which includes Sheridan — were selected to participate in the 2026 Wyoming Shrine Bowl Game. The Shrine Bowl is one of the state’s most prestigious high school all-star honors, recognizing the best senior football talent from across Wyoming.
Together, these achievements highlight the hard work of Sheridan’s student-athletes, their coaches, and the community that supports them. Congratulations to all the players and programs involved in these well-earned accomplishments.
