Rockford IceHogs Add Defensive Depth, Sign Lachlan Getz to AHL Deal

The Rockford IceHogs are bolstering their blue line heading into the upcoming season, announcing the signing of defenseman Lachlan Getz to an AHL contract.

The deal adds another piece to the IceHogs’ defensive corps as the organization continues to build its roster for the American Hockey League campaign ahead. Getz joins a Rockford squad that has long been a development destination for top hockey talent in the Chicago Blackhawks organization.

For IceHogs fans at the BMO Center, the signing is another sign that the team is actively investing in its lineup and giving Rockford hockey supporters something to look forward to when the puck drops this fall.
