A paraglider pilot made an emergency landing Sunday morning near Interstate 95 in Brevard County, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 8:15 a.m. to a report of a paraglider who had come down near a wooded area along Interstate 95, just south of Cheney Highway. The incident occurred near Mile Marker 220, west of the Brentwood Estates neighborhood.
Authorities said the paraglider landed near the interstate, but it did not affect traffic. No lanes were blocked as deputies responded to the scene.
The sheriff’s office said deputies were not advised of any injuries related to the incident. Additional details about what led to the emergency landing were not immediately available.
