A proposal to rezone an 80-acre site in Greenwood has been submitted, paving the way for a massive development near Interstate 65 and Worthsville Road. Plans call for a 74,000-square-foot travel center with 120 fueling stations and electric vehicle charging facilities.

Buc-ee’s Expansion

The proposal goes before the Greenwood Advisory Plan Commission on June 22 before moving to the city council. Buc-ee’s currently operates 55 locations nationwide and is known for its oversized stores, food offerings, and roadside attractions.
