The Bighorn Trail Run’s 100-miler started at the Tongue River Canyon in Dayton on Friday, June 19, 2026. Photojournalist Clint Wood caught up with two of the runners, including T.J. Harms Synkien, who was born in Cloquet, Minn., but now lives in Colorado.
Harms Synkien stated that he had never been to the Big Horns and saw this as an opportunity to explore a new area.
