A recent survey by YouGov found that McDonald’s is the most considered fast food chain among American adults, with 39.6% of the vote. However, when it comes to the best burger, McDonald’s ranks fifth, behind Five Guys, Burger King, In-N-Out Burger, and Wendy’s.

The survey also found that Chick-fil-A is the top-ranked fast food brand based on quality, while McDonald’s did not make the top 10. Wendy’s ranked No. 1 based on value, while McDonald’s came in at No. 8.
McDonald’s credits its popularity to its practice of putting quality first with real beef patties, 100% white meat chicken, and freshly cracked eggs, among other real ingredients.
