Harris County commissioners are set to consider a $20 million renovation of the Reliant Center in Downtown Houston. The project includes a $12 million roof replacement and $8 million in central plant repairs.
Infrastructure Committee
The commissioners will also discuss the creation of the Infrastructure Coordination and Performance Committee. The committee will focus on standardizing processes and procedures for infrastructure-related projects across all county departments.
The committee will track and create standardized reports for multiple infrastructure initiatives, including the Downtown Master Plan, Vision Zero workgroup, and Transportation Master Plan.
The commissioners will meet on June 25 at 9 a.m. at 1001 Preston St., Houston. The meeting will be available to livestream online.
