A staffer for Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed has a history of anti-white social media posts, directing most of her vitriol towards white women. Roxie Richner, the communications director for El-Sayed’s campaign, made the posts in 2019 and 2020 on the social media platform X, then called Twitter.
Posts Spark Outrage
In the posts, Richner accused white women of trying to get black people killed and called them ‘failures.’ She also mocked white people who were concerned about the chaos and violence in their neighborhoods during the riots following the death of George Floyd.
El-Sayed’s campaign has not commented on the matter. The candidate himself has been no stranger to controversy, having defended his decision to campaign with extreme far-left social media influencer Hasan Piker, who has made inflammatory comments in the past.
