A fourth Louisville Kings player has signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills, just a week after the team won the UFL championship. Kings running back Ian Wheeler signed the contract and was named the 2026 UFL United Bowl MVP for his role in helping the Louisville Kings win 27-20.
Louisville Kings’ Championship Win
Wheeler was previously signed with the Bears after being undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. However, his season ended early due to an ACL injury. Wheeler then signed with the Kings for the 2026 UFL season. He joins Tarik Black, Lucky Jackson, and Tanner Brown as the fourth Louisville Kings player to be drafted to the NFL.
Louisville Kings head coach Chris Redman expressed his happiness for the players and the team’s championship win. The Kings’ players will now play for the New Orleans Saints, Detroit Lions, and Buffalo Bills.
