The Dalí Museum’s Dalí Dome is set to debut a new 360-degree experience, ‘Surreal Nature’, on July 10. This immersive experience was created in collaboration with the Seoul, Korea-based digital design and art company d’strict and its multi-sensory division Arte Museum.
About the Experience
‘Surreal Nature’ is described as a ‘meditative, yet fantastical escape’ and ‘innovation at the intersection of art, technology and storytelling.’ The experience unfolds in two chapters: ‘Ocean’ and ‘Land’. ‘Ocean’ immerses guests in the power, mystery and beauty of the sea, while ‘Land’ takes visitors through a series of landscapes, including blooming gardens, cascading waterfalls, and a mystical forest.
The geodesic Dalí Dome, which opened in 2023, is 45 feet high and 60 feet across. Both daytime and evening shows will be presented for a limited time.
