The Obama Presidential Center’s grand opening ceremony began at 11 a.m. Thursday live from John Lewis Plaza outside the new center at 6001 S. Stony Island Ave. in Woodlawn, Chicago.
Featured performers include Steve Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Vedder, U2’s Bono and The Edge, Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Marc Anthony, John Legend, Common and The Roots.
The event is invite-only and sold-out, but it is streaming at Obama.org.
