The elevation of various towns and cities in Wyoming ranges from around 3,000 ft to over 7,000 ft. For example, Laramie has an elevation of 7,165 ft, while Cheyenne has an elevation of 6,062 ft. The diversity in elevation across the state contributes to its natural beauty and charm.

County-by-County Elevation Breakdown

A breakdown of the elevation of various counties in Wyoming is as follows: Albany County has elevations ranging from 6,565 ft in Medicine Bow to 7,165 ft in Laramie. Big Horn County has elevations ranging from 3,788 ft in Greybull to 4,070 ft in Basin. Campbell County has elevations ranging from 3,890 ft in Spotted Horse to 5,122 ft in Wright.
