Atlanta’s Chief Cultural Officer to Visit Ke’Nekt Cooperative

The Ke’Nekt Cooperative, located off Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard in Atlanta, hosts ‘Connected Mornings’ on the first and third Thursday of every month. These events focus on economic mobility and community resilience, and attendees can engage with local leaders over a cup of coffee.

Previous guests have included Karcheik Sims-Alvarado, an assistant professor of Africana Studies at Morehouse College and Chair of the Fulton County Reparations Task Force, and Chandra Farley, the Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Atlanta. Farley discussed the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability and Resilience budget and strategies to address the high energy burden faced by many Atlanta residents.

On June 18, Atlanta’s Chief Cultural Officer Richard Dunn will join the Connected Mornings event from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Ke’Nekt Cooperative invites the community to attend and participate in the discussion.
