Naperville Central High School’s Finance Club, led by senior captain Rohan Jain, has won the Illinois Personal Finance Challenge for the second consecutive year. The team of four students secured first place in the state on April 14, despite fierce competition.
A Legacy of Community and Legacy
Jain reflected on his time in the Finance Club, saying that the victories are not what matter most to him. Instead, he is most proud of the community and legacy he has built at Naperville Central. Jain hopes to be remembered not by the trophies he has won, but by the community he has built and the resources he has created.
Jain credited economics teacher and club sponsor Michael Borge for believing in the team from the beginning. He said that without Borge’s support, none of the team’s achievements would have been possible.
