The Lakeside Community Concert Band and the Greenville Chorale will present a patriotic concert at Furman University on June 25. The free event will feature over 200 musicians, including a biennial reunion of Furman band alumni.

Concert Details

The concert will include longtime patriotic staples, such as ‘America the Beautiful’ and ‘The Star-Spangled Banner,’ as well as a salute to American jazz. The Greenville Chorale will perform selections from ‘The Sound of Music’ and an ‘Americana Song Book’ medley.

Families are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and picnic fare to the event, which will take place at the Furman Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. on June 25. For more information, call 864-294-2086.
