A tragic accident occurred at Edwards Air Force Base in California when a B-52 Stratofortress crashed, resulting in the loss of eight lives. Among the victims was Jeromy Smith, a civilian flight test engineer and father of two young boys, who had recently celebrated the arrival of his second child with his wife, Lauren.
A Family’s Loss
Lauren Smith expressed her grief, stating that her world had been turned upside down by the unexpected loss of her husband.
