The second Publix in the northern Kentucky area is set to open this week. Located at 5401 Alexandria Pike, the store will host its grand opening on Wednesday, June 17, at 7 a.m.
Job Creation and Community Involvement
The new location will feature a 48,387 sq. ft. Publix Super Market and bring in 140 jobs to the area. According to Jared Glover, Publix media relations manager, “We are thrilled to continue our growth across Northern Kentucky with a new location in Cold Spring. We look forward to delivering Publix’s legendary service and being active members in this vibrant community.”
The Publix Liquors will open at 9 a.m. on June 17. This store will be the second of five coming to the area, with the first having opened at the Triple Crown Shopping Center on Richwood Road in March.
The three other locations include Publix: The Shoppes at Hebron Pointe, Publix: northeast corner of U.S. Route 42 and Farmview Drive, and Publix: corner of Harris Pike and Madison Pike. Publix did not have an estimated timeframe for construction or opening for the three other locations.
