A home in Centerville was destroyed in a fire on Saturday morning. Crews responded to the 500 block of North Haynes Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. to find the home engulfed in flames.

Due to the close proximity of neighboring homes, additional equipment was brought in to protect nearby properties and control the direction of wall collapses. An aerial truck was used to apply large volumes of water from above.

The Cincinnati Fire Department and Mystic Fire Department assisted with the response. Centerville Fire and Rescue also responded to a fire at the same home on June 6. The cause of both incidents is under investigation.
